KITE BOARDING/SURFING

A combination of kite flying and surfing, this sport is very exhilarating. It's not unusual to see kite boarders flying 10-20 feet over the tops of the waves. The best place to watch kite boarders is on the south shore at Poipu Beach and Mahalapu. Currently there are no insured vendors offering lessons on the island. Just as soon as there are, we'll post details here on what they are offering.
